This journal is devoted to the reimaged Battlestar Galactica series currently appearing on the SciFi channel. This is a fan fic writing group running a bi-weekly challenge just for the fun of it.

Dradis 499: Are You Out Of Your Mind Bi-Weekly BSG Writing Contest Returns.....

The contest resumes with a twist and more words. More than a drabble; less than a novella. We are going to feature a different character every other week. Called Secrets Kept, Secrets Revealed, you can either write about the secrets that this character keeps or is keeping from others or a secret or secrets that are revealed to others. This is a bi-weekly contest so entries are starting on Saturday, July 16th @ 11:59 pm and running bi-weekly from then on.

We're increasing the word count to 499 words, so that you can lose your mind, at the suggestion of some of our cramped-by-word-count writers, although you don't have to go that long. You can go slightly longer as well if you need a bit more room in order to get the secret resolved.

Our first character is Starbuck, who else? What secret does she hold close to her heart? Is it revealed or does she continue to conceal it? Does she have more than one secret? Go wild here, and above all else, have fun!

New banners for the winners of each bi-weekly contest will be issued for this challenge that can be posted on your personal website.
